I think one of the worst things about getting older (i.e., out of the 20s) is the loss of spontaneity, especially the ability to randomly drop everything and take a day or weekend trip somewhere with some buds. Nowadays everyone has conflicting schedules more often than not, and that’s not even touching the friends you have who now need to find sitters or daycare before going anywhere that isn’t stroller friendly.
A big (belated) shout out to all of you out there who’ve been dumped on V-Day. Eff that Ess, I say.
