So this one time my mom was sleeping and in her dream she was about to kick something and she woke up right as she kicked it, and it turned out she was kicking in real life, and kicked my dad in the leg pretty hard.
“Why did you kick me?” he asked, understandably aggrieved.
“I was having a dream!” explained my mom.
“No you weren’t, I was looking at your face, and your eyes were open before you kicked me!”
To this day, I still don’t think my dad believes that it wasn’t an intentional kick.
